About me
I am a certified therapist and member of the BACP, helping my clients navigate life using person-centred therapy, with some elements of psychodynamic and CBT. I have experience working with a variety of issues and specialise in addiction recovery - just ask and I will be able to tell you if I can give you the support you need, or could refer you to someone who would be better suited. I coach my clients in a way that utilizes both their heads and their hearts. My methods are greatly influenced by my own experience with addiction and recovery and this motivates me every day to help others onto the path of a fulfilling - even joy-filled - lives.
It is my strong belief that psychological disturbances can manifest in physical symptoms and my approach incorporates many embodiment practices, learning to engage with the felt sense and engaging the vagus nerve. I have an integrative approach to therapy, including elements of CBT, psychotherapy, positive psychology and motivational interviewing depending on the client's needs and preferences.
Feedback from my clients has proven I have a knack for taking complex subjects and breaking them down into comprehensible terms.
Whilst we are frequently dealing with serious topics, I hope to find areas of light and enjoyment along the way! If you have any questions about my methods, or would like to schedule a consultation, please get in touch today.
